Dinar’s chief interest lies in preparation of pigment from organic substances and their application in largely abstract paintings which have a close resonance with nature. In the long process, she adopts an archival methodology of categorization and documentation of the colour-shades obtained from the base of various organic materials in a quasi-scientific manner. Further, her pursuit of materiality leads to an engagement in the play of surface-texture using cotton-pulp and human-hair.
