Vinod Daroz studied sculpture at the Faculty of Fine Arts, the M. S. University of Baroda. As a student, Vinod travelled extensively to cities with established ceramics studios to expand his interactions with studio potters in the country. He draws inspiration from the lyrical sculptures of Southern Indian temple architecture which is reflected in his tendency to elaborate on the simplistic forms of platters, vases and other utilitarian ceramic objects. Vinod currently lives and works in Vadodara, Gujarat.
