Madhvi Subrahmanian is an artist, curator and writer based between Mumbai, India and Singapore. She was initiated to ceramics at the Golden Bridge Pottery in Pondicherry and was trained by Ray Meeker and Deborah Smith. Her works explore themes such subaltern histories and labour politics. Madhvi is an elected member of the International Academy of Ceramics, a UN organization based in Geneva, and Art Axis in the USA.
